Solid & Durable
As parents, we know how important it is for a piece of furniture to withstand regular use by children. That’s why we’ve chosen to produce our furniture components out of quality wood and hardware, so you can build new family heirlooms that will stand the test of time.
We are launching our first products on Kickstarter!

Delight from the start to finish
We have specifically selected the highest-quality wood materials for you to design and build your furniture. Learn more about the wood species and stain options below:
North American Ash
Ash is a sustainably managed hardwood from natural forests of North America. It has excellent environmental credentials and is popular with woodworkers for its light brown color and pronounced grain patterns. It also:
- Is very hard and stable wood, which makes it perfect for furniture.
- Glues, stains, and finishes very well, meaning your furniture will endure for years to come.
Baltic Birch Plywood
Baltic Birch Plywood is among the highest-quality sheet goods available, which is why we offer our furniture in this economical but attractive material. Baltic birch’s core is unlike traditional plywood; the layers of inner plies are 1.5 mm-thick solid birch veneer, crossbanded, and laminated. And because we think indoor air quality matters, the product we use meets California Air Resources Board (or CARB) Phase 2 Standards. It is:
- Strong and stable
- Capable of forming clean joints
